It's a routine every season.Someone goes down, someone goes up.
Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion already promoted earlier and now, Blackpool pulled off a miracle to join them in Premier League.
Well, it would be fun to try out Blackpool when Football Manager 2011 out especially when the club last played in the top flight in 1971.

Show Your Authority As Manager
Do players obey you? Do they even respect you? Do they have doubts about your managerial skill?Well, afraid them no more and show them who is the boss around.
It happens to me when I fined a player and he,despite playing badly, said the fine was harsh.
Never in my game, I have my team losing to team fighting to avoid relegation in a big margin of scoreline.
I had one now.My team lose 4-0 against Wolves in League Cup!!!They beat the shit out of us and the worst player on pitch was Matic.

Rating of 4.5 out of 10.Stunning and surprising performance.
Then, he came out saying he is SHOCKED to be handed an official warning despite playing badly.
What's so shocking about the fine when you played badly?
I don't have much patience for him and transfer listed him straightaway.
Good that,NAC Breda actually came in with a bid of 7.5m for him...So, Matic played his last game against Wolves and bid farewell with the supporters.
Thank you very much for the money and bye bye!
So guys, if you have encounter something like this, don't hold back.Sell them out, get someone better in.Show them who's the boss!

First Five Matches
Started the season with difficult matches ahead. In the first five matches, two of them are against the top 4 team, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC.
Imagining my thin defensive line defends against world class players like Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba alone is killing me...
The first match was Community Shield against Liverpool.Managed to win despite Fernando Torres banged in few goals for Liverpool.Cristaldo, Aliev, Salvio and Keirrison all managed to get on the scoresheet.
Newcastle game was a disappointing match. We lost a player as early as 4minutes when Kacar get sent off. Then, we blew off the 2-goals lead we had.
After Newcaslte get their man sent off, we still failed to score. What a let down.
But I must say, the match against Chelsea was a great one with us managed to score just few seconds into the match.
Mbia opened his scoring account with a strike that not even Cech can save!By half time, it was already 3-1 with Milan Baros and Otamendi adding a goal to their name each!

Barely 1minute into the second half, Baros scored yet again to end any hope for the Blue to make any comeback. It's impossible now and we won it fair and square.
Overall, the first five matches were great albeit a little disappointing in the third match.Great months ahead and I can't deny I'm looking forward to it!

My Q.P.R Spending Spree
Sorry for not keeping you guys updated with my QPR story...My bad for keeping you guys waiting.Anyway, here's the continuation of my Q.P.R story.
Last post, I was talking about buying Italian playmaker, Alberto Aquilani. He was the second signing after I splashed 25m on Sakho.
Now, I spent another 25.5m on another bright star.

Exactly what I need on the left side...Pace, power, trickery and skills...
Just in case you guys didn't know, he already scored one goal in friendly.Hopefully, he will gel well with the team and won't turn out as a flop.
Wondering if he can turn out as another little Messi in my team. *grinning*

My Second Paid Signing
Sorry for making you guys waiting but here's my second signing. Remember what I said few posts back? This season, due to the fact that Milan Baros turning into a bargain signing, I tried my best to sign as many quality free signings as possible.
Sakho was my one and only signing until I paid another chunk of cash for this Italian.

I remember there was a time where I posted my ranting about missing out on Aquilani because he chose to move on loan to Aston Villa instead of joining me.
Now, after a season gone, I finally have the chance to sign him.His stats are still pretty good.
Most importantly, just one month after signing him, his price raised by 500k.
When I saw him on transfer list with a price tag of 7.5 million, I quickly made a move. Now, he is estimated at 8 million pound. He will prove a competition for my midfield area and hopefully, he will gel well with Cattermole!
Frank Lampard? Steven Gerrard? Cesc Fabregas? Hell no, it's Alberto Aquilani in the house. :P

Splashing The Cash!
I wonder if you read this post of mine last month. If you haven't , you should do it now simply by clicking HERE.
Apparently, last month, I was moaning about not having adequate wage cap that caused me missing out quality signings like Sakho

and Kroos.A season later, I made him my 1st signing of the season(as in the first signing where I splash the cash) by splashing as much as 25m pound on him!

2 times the money Palermo paid PSG to buy him!
His stats are as impressive as always!
Now, in my game, he is only 24 years old.Given how CB tend to be able to play until 35 or more, Sakho will have at least another 11-13 years of playing time. 25m probably is a bargain if he can gel well with his defensive partner, Otamendi.
Just in case you guys don't remember, I also signed another 2 french players on Free which I mentioned in my last few post.I'm trying to build a Le France club :P Hahaha! Meanwhile, guys, let me know what do you think about these 3 signings so far!

Pre Season Friendly And Signings
In my last post, Anonymous asked for preseason report. So, this post will be talking about my preseason activity. Do take note that the title of the post incidate it's pre season friendly and not friendlies. I have no idea why but my assistant manager canceled out all preseason friendlies except one.Maybe, he is resting players for Community Shield...Maybe...
Meanwhile, let's put the preseason friendly aside and talk about 2 signings I made because one of them happened to be the Man Of The Match for the friendly match!
Encouraged by the fact that free signings can make a big impact, an example of Milan Baros, I decided to try out another few free signings. Two free signings...
Coincidentally, these 2 players happen to be french players. Haha...Am I'm trying to build a team of Le France? The answer is..Nope!It's mere coincidence!
The first french player is...
David N'Gog
This former Liverpool Football Club player happened to have his contract expired in the summer with PSG reluctant to offer him a new one.So, I jumped in and offered him a contract.
Straight after he joined us, his estimated value increased to 6m pound! If he cant make any impact, I will sell him cheap... Even 3-4m is a profit for me. Heh!
2nd player I signed is Mathieu Valbuena. Also on free...
Actually, I signed him as a companion for french players I'm trying to sign like Ribery, Sakho and others.
Now that, I have N'Gog in the house, he will serve as a good companion for N'Gog and can acts as a backup player for Salvio.I'm kinda short of AMR anyway. ;)
Back to preseason friendly...
Our only Friendly opponent is FC Lorient.
Like I mentioned earlier, one of these free signings turned out to be man of the match.

N'Gog managed to score 2 in 3 minutes.Another Baros in the making? Lol.Both happen to be former Liverpool former. Is that mere coincidence or former Liverpool flops forward have what it needs to do well in my club? Maybe I should try signing Djibril Cisse, Emile Heskey, Craig Bellamy, Robbie Keane and few others. :P

Largest Season Budget Ever !
Well well well, it's the time again to know the season expectation and of course, the most important part of the game, the season budget.
Winning the league, undoubtedly, raised the expectations higher with us having the need to at least qualify for the European Champions Cup.
However, there are positives despite higher expectations. The wage cap now hits 1m p/w and I received the largest season budget I ever get in my entire QPR career!
54m!

And it's pound sterling!!!
So guys, suggest me few quality signings I should make to improve my squad ahead of new season! Thanks!

Premier League Champion
Sorry for the late update.Been busy attending to real life.
A season ago, my Q.P.R narrowly lose out the title to Liverpool FC on 1 point.

A season later, with the right signings, the right mentality, the right tactic used, the team finally managed to win the Premier League title.
If winning it is something we should be happy about, then beating Liverpool FC to 12 points in title race is something we should be proud about!

Manchester United, again finished outside of top four.I wonder why. They still sign a lot of superstars and big name players.Yet, they failed to even break into top 4.
The reaction of us winning the league is of course, a little exaggerate with the fans being touted as not sleeping at night because hit by Premier Division fever.

The board is , of cos, delighted with our achievement.
All of a sudden, I'm the Hero for everyone...even Rodwell thinks so...Haha

On individual awards, I won the manager of the year award

and most importantly, the guy who made us the Champion, the guy who made me the manager of the year and the guy who made himself the topscorer.

More updates later...Stay tuned!

Bullying - When Attributes and Stats Are For Decoration!
When you talk about bullying, obviously you think about big clubs.Well, this time around, smaller club like us happen to be the one bullying big clubs.Statistically, we bullied Liverpool FC.
Prematch stats display both sides goalscorers.

Funny how it turned out that Baros scored 17 goals more than Fernando Torres. Not only that, even Keirrison scored 1 more than Peter Crouch who started almost every game. I only play Keirrison on rotation with Cristaldo replacing him in some of the games.
Anyway, my point is, you don't need to have players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka with awesome stats to win games. What you need is a player who suits the style of playing of your team and can gel well with your squad.
Stats are nothing but decoration.
Of course, too lousy stats won't work either. What I'm trying to say here is pick one player with decent stats is more than enough if he can gel well with the rest of the squad.
Here's the difference of stats and attributes between Fernando Torres and Milan Baros.
Click the photos for enlargement!

Awesome stats of Fernando Torres but Baros who has a weaker stats scored more goals than him.

At the end of the day, what counts is how you get the best of your players. If you can do it, even the player " signed on last resort" can be a star.

January Short Update
Just a short post because I just came back from a trip.
January (in game) was a perfect month with my team meeting teams who are weaker. These 4 teams happen to be Bolton FC, Sunderland FC, Burnley FC and Swansea FC.
No offense to Burnley FC and Swansea FC supporters but these 2 are the weaker team among all four opponents.
Won all four matches. Too tired to go on details of all four matches after 22 hours flight! Click on the image to enlarge.

P.S: Saw The Ziggy's post about winning against Valencia. How I wish I can be in the same shoes but I got knocked out at the same stage but a defeat against Inter Milan instead of Valencia....

Finally Dream Come True!!!
After all this hard persuasive request, after wasting years, after request over and over again, FINALLY!!!
Finally, we get a new stadium.I pissed them off quite frequently because I keep requesting extension despite knowing that town council won't approve. They surrender because of my constant bugging and I won the battle to get a new stadium
Here's a screenshot of the board plan. Click to enlarge =)

Overall, the whole construction of new stadium will cost around 75m pound. However, we only have to fork out another 42m because we are able to gain around 33m by selling Loftus Road.
This stadium will take around 2.5 years to complete.Estimated complete by 21st June 2015 which is the end of next season...
New stadium with undersoil heating and a bigger capacity...Wooooo! I wonder what they gonna name it though...Hmmm...

November The Crazy BUT POSITIVE Month v2
Just a short post.Sorry for short little post.I have few important things to attend to in my real life.
November is a crazy month for but it's cool anyway.I won all my games and Baros was in crazy form....

9 Goals in 5 matches. What more can you ask from him? 3 goals against top 4 teams and 1 goal against top 5 team.Splendid...
His partnership with Keirrison is awesome, assisting each other well. Keirrison himself scored 4 goals in 5 matches.
Their fruitful partnership won me yet another Manager Of The Month award.

November The Crazy Month
November was a crazy month. Two big clubs manager quit their job.One get sacked, another resigned.
I felt guilty.Apparently, the one get sacked was Thomas Schaaf from Manchester City who got the sacking right after my game against his team.

I felt really bad.I made him lose him job.
As you can see,
just my last post, Thomas Schaaf was topping top 3 of Best manager of September.
One month later, he lost his job and I played a big part.
This is the game where he lost his job.

And we came back from behind YET AGAIN.Baros scored another goal.He loves scoring.
To add salt to injury, to add on the misery to the sacked man, I was touted as the favourite to get his job.How irony.
I also became favourite to take over Rafa Benitez who resigned to take over England job.

What a crazy month.

An Unlikely Hero Emerges.
Hey guys, I'm back!!!Back to my game, the season kick start with an away match against Spurs at White Hart Lane.Looking at the fixtures ahead, I feel suicidal especially with us facing Spurs followed by ManUtd and another away match against Sunderland.None of these matches are easy.A good early start is necessary for a small club like us to start picking up confidence and pace to match with the rest of the elite teams out there like Arsenal FC, Chelsea Fc, Liverpool FC and Manchester United FC.
For the 1st match against Spurs, 3 new signings made their debut.Fabian Monozon, Rafinha and Julio Baptista made their debut for the club. For Spurs, Defoe and Keane lead their striking line and that sounds worrying for my defense especially with Monzon and Rafinha being new to the club and understanding wise, we are losing out to Spurs.
A bassong-Dawson partnership doesn't sound very tough to break through hmm?Unfortunately,HT came, score still 0-0.Bassong and Dawson are holding Baros and Baptista in their pocket.
75minutes passed and the score remained the same. 3 minutes later, a player whom my former assistant deemed as "decent" player that we should "signed as last resort" broke the deadlock and scored the only goal.
Baros comes to the saviour.

Full Time:
Tottenham 0-1 Q.P.R
Just 3 days later, we are playing one of the biggest team in the world.Although they finished 13th last season, they are still one of the biggest team that we can't take them lightly.
Due to the fact that most of the players are not in their 100% condition, I have no choice but to make few changes. In addition to that, 4 days later, we will be playing against Sunderland which we have a better chance of winning. So, resting some key players are essential.
Baptista came off for Cristaldo.
Rafinha replaced Salvio.
Rodwell who played as Centerback in the match against Spurs moved to center , replacing Cattermole.
Connolly played as Centerback, replacing Rodwell.Shawcross took up the rightback position left behind by Rafinha.
This is the final formation and lineup.

Kacar remained in his DM role which he did well for the past few months since joining us in January.
The game started well beyond my expectation. In 30minutes, we already have 5-6 scoring opportunities.
In 35minutes, Manchester United gave away a freekick which Otamendi scored a volley from close ranged.
HT: 1-0. Q.P.R unexpectedly leading.
The game continued as both sides have fair amount of chances to change the scoreline.A determined Joe Hart kept out the ball to allow the team remain leading with a goal.
A victory looks likely with the team approaching 90minutes.2minutes of injury time added. The scoreline remained the same until the final few seconds.
Baros took on few players and scored a goal!Baros had now scored 2 goals out of 2 matches.
Full Time:
Queens Park Rangers 2 - 0 Manchester United.
The 3rd and final match of August was against Sunderland FC.
Same formation was used.2 changes were made with Salvio and Aliev coming in on both flanks.
Before half time,Dembele scored a goal to push Sunderland into leading the match before Cristaldo scored to equalize.
Late in game,Salvio put a cross into the box and Baros, out of nowhere, headed it to put QPR into lead.
Full Time:

Now, Milan Baros already scored 3 goals in 3 matches.2 of them were winning goals.I'm expecting him to win the Player Of The Month award.
The best signing I ever made. Free but effective!Hopefully, Baptista can follow Baros' footstep.

Still Queens Park Rangers!
Hi guys,I'm still managing Queens Park Rangers. It's my 4th season .Normally, the very 1st thing I do for early season is to sign players to improve the current squad but this time around, I should be signing a new assistant manager to help me out because....
Big clubs keep stealing staffs away from me.Each and every season, I have to replace someone in some area.Damn it.If only our club is bigger and richer(in wage), I'm sure I will be able to keep them in club! Screw those big clubs!
For the start of season expectations, I chose qualifying for continental as our minimum season expectation despite finishing 2nd last season.I'm trying to play safe.
Even for that,we got as much as 27m of transfer budget and as little as 725k in wage.I think as usual, I will spend some money to increase the wage budget.
Back to transfer activity,I sold off Andrea Dossena, Peter Ramage and others simply because they are not good enough to be in the 1st team. They had been blowing cold and hot for sometimes. They just cant play consistently and force me to find replacement to replace them.Sorry and thanks for everything.
In this transfer window, I made as much as 8 transfer.4 of them are hot prospect for the future.
Initially, I signed a wonderkid for left back position.A Regen 17 years old with incredible impressive stats- Sorin Velicu.Due to the fact that he is only 17 and yet to reach 18, he can only join my team in January. That left me no choice but to sign another left back for the time being and I splashes 14million to sign Monzon from FC Lorient.
Here's Monzon's stats.Click to enlarge if you want to see it in a clearer view.
For right back position left behind by Peter Ramage,I signed Rafinha from Schalke. He will fight his right back position with Dan Gosling, the young gems in my team.
Julio Baptista arrived on free to replace the Santa Cruz who just cant score goals for me.Took 2.4m from Burnley and wave my hands , saying goodbye to Santa Cruz.

Kaspars Gorkss was sold off to Reading for 500k and Shawcross arrived from Man Utd for 4m pound.
Other signings like Areola, Derbal,Caldirola and Velicu are hot prospect I signed for reserves :P
For our fixture, we start our season with a trip to White Hart Lane before playing Man Utd at Loftus Road.

But the most important match will be the one on 27th October, vs Chelsea. They are our fierce rivals and of course it will be the most important match for the 1st half of the season.
For preseason friendlies,

The pre season friendlies have been brilliant. We won all the matches.Joe Hart had been impressive, keeping 5 cleansheet in 6 preseason friendlies. Not only that we are able to keep as much as 5 cleansheets, we also won the matches with big score margin.Simply brilliant!
I can't wait to kick start the new season! Til then!
For the start of season expectations, I chose qualifying for continental as our minimum season expectation despite finishing 2nd last season.I'm trying to play safe.
